NELCNew England Lions Council Fall Conference

Welcoming all Lions to Mt Snow Vermont. You need not be a NELC member to attend. This event brings together Lions from all over New England for training, fellowship and fun.

Of particular interest to all local Lions club leaders will be the 10am presentation of the Constitutional Area 1-A Global Action Team. Or perhaps, also at 10am, you would rather learn about how the Rhode Island Lions Sight Foundation hosted it’s 10th annual Visually Impaired Persons (VIP’s) Fishing Tournament. They would like to show us the ropes and invite other districts to host similar VIP fishing events.

At 12:30 join NELC for lunch and learn about the Learn, Earn, and Prosper (LEAP) program which provides youth, 16-24 years old, who are blind or visually impaired, the opportunity to gain the skills needed to become independent, confident, and productive young adults.

The highlight of the weekend is sure to be the 7pm dinner with keynote speaker IPID Jerome Thompson, Constitutional Area 1 Global Membership Team Coordinator. Read more to get the full schedule and registration information.

Stay for the whole weekend or join us for just those presentations and meals you desire to attend.  All attendees must register. Registration fee is $5 for NELC members, $10 for non-members. All meals must be reserved by October 15th. Room reservation deadline is September 29th.
